Ammonia (fish waste) converts into nitrite then nitrate. High Nitrate can be caused by the build-up of organic pollutants which can lead to algae growth and poor fish health.

API Nitrate Test Kit measures nitrate levels in both fresh & saltwater aquariums. Tests nitrate levels from 0 to 160 ppm. 90 tests per kit.

Kit includes: Two liquid dropper bottles with child-resistant safety caps, easy-to-read instructions with information on how to test and how to correct unsafe water conditions, 2 colour charts and glass test tube with snap-tight cap.
