High Performance Activated Carbon:

Your EFX power filter comes supplied with an Activated Carbon module. This MUST be thoroughly rinsed out prior to running your filter for the first time. We would ideally recommend soaking your carbon module in R.O water for 24 hours before use. Activated carbon must be replaced every 4-6 weeks. For best results always use genuine AquaManta replacement parts.

The Activated Carbon Module traps the finer particles, and helps remove dissolved organic matter. Carbon also removes chloramines, Chlorine, heavy metals as well as helping to maintain clear water by removing ‘dyes’ from the water.
