In order to achieve optimum performance and maximum flow rates from your filter please ensure that you regularly clean and check both the impeller and its housing in accordance to the loading on the filter. If the filter starts to make a rattling noise, check that the impeller shaft is not broken and that any rubber grommets are in-place and not worn. Failure to do this will dramatically reduce the filter’s performance and could invalidate any warranty.
