Pyohex Medicated Shampoo is formulated to remove dirt and scale, degrease the skin and kill cutaneous organisms which primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis. It can also be used as an adjunct to treatment for demodectic mange and other deep pyodermas, as well as a preventative for recurrent pyodermas.

The Chlorhexidine in Pyohex works by binding to hair and penetrating the follicle to kill bacterias in situ. Pyohex binds strongly to the skin and hair, resulting in a 4 day residual action. As Chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed through the skin, Pyohex is completely safe.

Pyohex is pH neutral, non-toxic, non-irritating, suitable for dogs and puppies of any age.
