Be cautious when trimming your bird’s nails. Be cautious of the nail bed/quick, and trim only the nail tip. The quick may be difficult to see in dark nails. Avoid cutting nails too short as bleeding may occur. Trim nails weekly to maintain the desired length. For overgrown nails, consult your veterinarian.
