Why choose a Featherland Stainless Steel bird cage and not a cheaper or unbranded stainless steel cage?

The simple answer is the quality and grade of the stainless steel used in our cages. Featherland Stainless Steel cages use Medical Grade 304 Stainless Steel. Other cheaper cages use 201 or lesser grades. 304 Grade Stainless Steel is defined by its higher nickel content. Due to the rising cost of nickel, this makes stainless steel type 304 slightly more expensive compared with the lower grades used in the cheaper cages. The higher nickel content is what makes type 304 less susceptible to corrosion.
